We designed and developed AmbiJet from the ground up for dentistry, pushing back the boundaries of what is thought impossible. To deliver the next generation of implant care. The team combines half-a-century of expertise in the fields of plasma physics, microsystems engineering, life science and dentistry. Blended with our experience in prospective clinical trials, regulatory affair, and business administration, we go beyond technological and clinical excellence: we want to deliver a device for the best possible implant care.

Awards
Over the years, we reached the top spot in many competitions: winner of the Freiburger Gründertage, winner of the Science4Life, finalist for the German Medical Award, of the German Business Plan for Medicine. This is the result of a focused effort with innovation at its heart. For the fourth year in a row, FrMED is beneficiary of the seal “innovation through research”.
This year, FrMED won the Research and Development award organized by Acquisition International and was elected MedTech Startup of the Year.
It is a runner-up in the European competition EIT Health, in category Medical Device.
Support
The development of a new medical technology is only possible through heavy financial support over many years. The company received fundings from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the European Social Funds and from the European Union via the EXIST Program and the highly selective EIC-Accelerator program.
This further underlines the quality and importance of our mission, giving it a Seal of Excellence.
Network
We are cooperating with IMTEK, the world largest microsystems technology center; with the University of Freiburg: center of excellence; with the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
